Video: Limiting Government

Anyone who has tried to start a business, attempted to get service from a federal bureaucracy, or been frustrated with out-of-touch representation knows Jefferson was right.
As federal government’s obesity problem grows, inevitably so does its intrusion into your wallet, family, and life. Washington politicians are convinced they know what is best for you, yet they over-tax, over-regulate and over-burden you.
As your Congressman I will work to restrain government overreach, expose political corruption, and put the brakes on outrageous wasteful spending. Special interests in search of special treatment will get none from me. I care about you – Arizonans and your families. I will work tirelessly to secure your rights and keep politicians from overstepping the Constitutional bounds of their authority.

We need to eliminate the wasteful and useless departments, such as Education and greatly reduce the over-reach of the EPA. It is a travesty that the fed owns 80% of the western states. What happened to states rights?

Limited government equates to less funding needed, thus less taxes and thus more growth. If you let me keep more of my money, I will invest it to provide capital to grow companies, and spend it, spurring growth. Allowing me to decide what to do with my money is more freedom for me.
Question for Brian – does he have any specific realistic proposals to reduce the size of government?
Note – if the Republicans gain control, I want them to reduce the debt, which means reducing the annual deficit. Do NOT waste money on pork projects and unnecessary entitlements. Reality needs to set in.
